The Hon Mike Ahern, AO, Non-Executive Chairman

Former Queensland Premier, The Hon. Mike Ahern AO, was a member of the Australian Dept of Industry, Technology and Communications Ministerial Council for three years. While Minister for Industry, Small Business and Technology, he developed the first technology strategy for Queensland which included the first use of Satellite technology. He was recently appointed as an officer of the Order of Australia (General Division) for services to the community through technological, medical research, educational and charitable institutions.

For over 15 years, Mr Ahern, has been Chairman of the Indue Group of Companies. Financial Services Corporation, with $350 million in funds under management. Mr Ahern is a Director of Brisbane Markets Ltd and is Chair of Family Care Medical Services Ltd, the largest medical deputising service provider in Australia. Mr Ahern is also Chair of the Consultative Committee of the Queensland Centre for Advanced Technology, a cooperation between CSIRO and the Queensland Government.

Mr Ahern has an Agricultural Science degree and is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Sciences and Engineering.

Greg Kennish, Managing Director and Group CEO

Greg joined IntraPower in December 2003, seeing an outstanding opportunity to leverage the Company’s emerging leadership in the Internet Protocol (IP) networks solutions market and its high quality customer base to build a position of commercial dominance in the Telecommunications Managed Services (TMS) market.

Greg brings a depth of experience in leadership to the Company and a strong track record of growing software companies in Asia. Prior to joining the Company, Greg co-founded HospitalityCity, the leading Hospitality e-procurement company in South-East Asia. Greg was also instrumental in securing funding for the company from both SingTel and OUB Bank.

Prior to founding HospitalityCity, Greg was Vice President, Asia Pacific for Lodgistix, a NASDAQ listed System Integrator focussed on the Hospitality Industry with company headquarters in Atlanta. Greg was responsible for establishing the Asian operations for the company based in Singapore. Greg built the Asian Operations profitably to over 100 employees in five years while achieving an average annual revenue growth of 175%.

Greg is a substantial shareholder in IntraPower.


Ian Neal, Non-Executive Director

Ian is a principal of Management Abroad Pty Limited. Prior to Management Abroad, Ian was a co-founder and Managing Director of Nanyang Ventures Pty Limited, which had a total of $140 million under management, invested in 27 companies across a range of industries from high technology to advanced manufacturing. Companies backed by Nanyang ranged from start-up to $50 million in revenue.

Ian’s prior professional background is in financial markets, commencing as an equities analyst and moving through various Banking positions until establishing Nanyang in 1993 with his partners. Ian is a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and is a past National President of the former Securities Institute of Australia.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Merit from the University of NSW (double major in Business Finance and Accountancy) and the Diploma of the Securities Institute of Australia.
 
At present Ian is a Non-Executive Director of Dyesol Limited and Prime Media Group Limited.


Jon Allaway, Non-Executive Director

Jon has 22 years extensive experience in business and IT consulting across Asia Pacific. Holding the role as Partner at Accenture in 1997, Jon’s background has been in establishing and growing financial services business in the South-East Asian region, greenfield new business, start-ups, as well as the merger integration of six major Singapore banks.

After leaving Accenture in 2004, Jon started his own business providing management consulting to senior executives in banking, funds management and telecommunications.

Jon has also established a series of private equity funds, which invest into small to medium-size enterprises with the objective of transforming them into high performance businesses. Jon holds a Bachelor of Economics degree, majoring in Money and Finance and Computer Science.
